牛跡比丘

the (sa) bhikṣu Gavāṃpati, 憍梵波提 q. v., also styled 牛王 (尊者), said to have been a disciple of Śākyamuni; also styled 牛呞 ruminating like a cow, and 牛相 cow-faced: so born because of his previous herdsman's misdeeds.
